WheelPickV2 is a compact Windows color picker for sampling any color on your screen and working with it immediately in HEX, RGB, or HSL.

It combines a magnified eyedropper, color wheel, brightness variations, and color history in one small window. Pick a color from an app, image, or web page, fine-tune it if needed, then copy an exact value into your design, code, or AI prompt.

WheelPickV2 was created while working with AI-assisted development. Requests such as “make it closer to this blue” or “reduce the red a little” are easy to interpret differently. Sampling a reference color and passing an exact value such as #30ACFD makes design and implementation feedback much more specific.

Installation

1. Download WheelPickV2-1.0.0-Portable.zip.
2. Extract the ZIP file.
3. Run WheelPickV2.exe inside the extracted folder.

No installation is required. Keep the data folder with the executable when moving the app to another location.

This portable release is not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen may display a warning the first time it runs. Confirm that the file was downloaded from this official itch.io page, choose More info, and then choose Run anyway.
